A Long The Way.

In these first few pages I will introduce the adventures of a 151/2 year old kid who
left his loving home and the beloved mountains of Penna. to escape the pressure of
school attendance. He had fears of being sent to a reform school so he worked and saved money so as to stay off of the streets. His train ticket took him from the State of Penna to the State of Washington.

During a layover in Chicago he was befriended by a woman who took him home. However, he over heard her on the phone and gathered up his stuff and found his way back to the RR station. She was talking about turning him in.

So onward to the west coast.

My tag line sort of explains my blog. I have discovered that no matter how much my life appears to toss and turn and I see the world from my view points in the
end where ever I go there I am.

Not long ago I was a kid who hated school. Drove my parents crazy playing hooky. Grew up in Penna. and loved the mountains. Depared HS and took
off at age 151/2. Left a loving home for a early entry into the Army where
I had a long career. A commission forced me to seek passing the GED and
obtaining a BA. Somehow started respecting education and a love to learn.

Gee, it was the Korean War, Viet Nam and the Cold War.

Ok, and here I am. I will be back.
